Factory Walkways and crossings.

Our client required walkways and pedestrian crossings installing to the new factory.  The current floor was a polished concrete surface. Before we could install any epoxy resin we needed to prepare the surface. This time we used enclosed shot blasting to remove the surface layer to achieve the required surface key.

Shot Blasting in progress.

Completed preparation

A Single coat of Epoxy Primer was then applied.

Clear Epoxy Primer.

Once the primer had cured a top coat of Solvent Free high Build Epoxy Coating with a texture additive was applied. The Texture additive will help to achieve a slip resistant surface.

The Finishing Touches:

The final process was the installation of the pedestrian crossings and yellow demarcation lines. We also installed hash-boxes to all fire exits.

Fleet Support Service Garage Floor Improvements

We were asked by our client to improve there fleet service garage to create a clean and safe environment for the workforce working on the vehicles. In one weekend we removed all the oil and contaminants from the concrete slab and installed a hard wearing epoxy floor coating with pedestrian walkway and safety demarcations.

Epoxy Solvent Free Coating

When hygiene is important you must ensure that the resin system selected can provide a functional and durable surface capable of meeting the rigorous cleaning requirements expected today.
We offer a comprehensive range of hygienic resin systems for floor and wall applications, for use in environments that demand safe, durable and easy to clean finishes.

Line Marking and Signage

In today's health and safety conscious environment, clear demarcation of safe areas is vital. Whether the requirement is for coloured walkways or simply lines to identify pathways then we can offer a resin system to meet your needs.

Chemical Resistant Coatings

Chemical resistant systems must provide the end user with the confidence that when a chemical breach occurs, the protection afforded by the resin lining provides the opportunity for the spillage to be safely dealt with.

MMA (Methyl Methacrylate)

Our MMA resin systems offer a diverse range of solutions, all with a rapid return to service, coupled with excellent clean ability and durability. From smooth systems, to broadcast or trowel quartz systems, or systems incorporating a coloured flake, a hygienic floor with the desired slip and chemical resistance can be achieved within a day and allowed back into service normally within 2 hours of completion, even at sub-zero temperatures.

reference 5

Mr. Terry Rossington of CAT Industrial Flooring has contacted me today to ask if I would be willing to
provide a reference for his company and based on the works recently carried out on our behalf I have
no problem in doing this.
Epoxy floor painting is not something that we are asked to provide a quotation for very often so when
this project was requested I was forced to seek the advise of the product supplier
(Carl Taylor / Resin Building Products Ltd.) and CAT Industrial Flooring came highly recommended.
Mr. Rossington provided an excellent service from start to finish, A quotation was returned within days
of request, Health and Safety information was provided swiftly on receipt of our order being placed,
A programme of works was agreed and adhered to, staff were polite and helpful and site was left tidy
at the end of each working day,
Mr. Rossington carried out the final element of works himself and did not leave until he was sure that
our client was completely satisfied so on this basis I am more than willing to provide this reference to
you as I would not hesitate to contact him regarding any future projects.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further information.
Many Thanks
John Wheater
