Over the last ten years we have been refurbishing the floors in a local confectionery manufacturing factory .

Installing polyurethane self smoothing screed,  at a nominal 3mm thickness this hard wearing material suits our clients needs .

With its matt finish this  polyurethane screed offers slip resistance and a easily cleanable surface .

Internal Steel Deck Coating

Our client asked us to supply a coating suitable for a steel deck. This chequer plate steel deck was once used as a loading dock but was now going to be used as the floor in a internal room.
 
 
 

                                         Years of old coating systems and rust had to be removed.

 
 
 
 Using grinders and a floor scabbler machine all the    old materials where removed .

     Resudeck is a two-pack, high build, hard wearing polyurethane floor coating which forms a tough and durable finish with resistance to light-medium chemical attack it can also be used in wet environments.
     
    Resudeck is resistant to hot water and can be steam cleaned.
    By incorporation of suitable aggregates, anti-slip finishes with a range of thicknesses and textures can be created.
    Resudeck is a solvent-free coating with a 100% solids content, which cures to a gloss finish.

    Polyurethane Floor Repairs to Food Factory

    Polyurethane Floor Repairs to Food Factory.
     
    Our client required us to carry out repairs to their food factory floor during a planned shut down period.

     

    The repairs required were:

    1. -To remove failed areas of Screed and replace with new.
    2. -To cut through cracks in the floor and fill with polyurethane expansion material .
    3. -To repair a collapsed drainage channel.
    4. -Installation of Polyurethane coving.
    5. -Polyurethane coating to existing coving.

    We were asked by our client to improve there fleet service garage to create a clean and safe environment for the workforce working on the vehicles. In one weekend we removed all the oil and contaminants from the concrete slab and installed a hard wearing epoxy floor coating with pedestrian walkway and safety demarcations.

    We were asked by one of our clients to install 3 slip resistant areas around their loading docks.
     
    Stage 1 Firstly we had to remove the old coating around the doorways which had worn out. This was done with diamond floor grinders which removed the old coating and produced the required keyed surface for the new system.

    Stage 2      
     
    Once the preparation was complete a primer coat of solvent free epoxy coating was applied to which a full broadcast of aggregate was applied.

     Stage 3
     
    A final top coat of solvent free epoxy coating was applied to seal the aggregate and achieve the slip resistant loading pads.

    Floor Repairs and coating to Marine equipment test facility

    Installation of slip resistant walkway and floor coating to Marine Test Facility

     
    Our client needed there workshop floor to be improved for Health and safety, as well as cosmetic appearance. They only had a small window of opportunity for these works to be carried out, and asked us to complete the project for them.
     
    The floor was first prepared using enclosed shot blasting to remove and debris and contaminants from the surface.
     
    Once this was complete all repairs where carried out using epoxy resin repair.
     
    All walkways were installed using MMA with a full broadcast of aggregate, before the remaining areas where coated using solvent free epoxy coating.
